Happenings in July 09

Backdating the date to the events in July 09, they are:

2) ~ *Site Visitation @ Siloso Beach Resort on 26 July 09* ~

Event 1
Celest is finally back to Singapore for a few days. Hence, we quickly grabbed her for a gathering before she flies off again! Haha.. This time round, we have contacted a long lost friend to join us.. she is... --> Meiying! Seriously, we have not been seeing her after graduating from NYP for 5 years! Its wonderful to meet up with these buddies.. To chat, to gossip and to listen! Had a great time hearing Celest's tales of ghost stories.. Also wont forget how did xuefang behaves when Celest is about to tell her ghostly encounters! Keke.. =PpP

Oh.. We went to Paragon Sushi Tei to have our dinner. Lets take a group pic before we leave!

Event 2
Dear and me went to Siloso Beach Resort on 26 July 09. The place is romantic and cosy! Posted some pics at Facebook and have received some comments from friends and mostly all of them are positive. Except for: Location is too far! haha.. right! I admit that Sentosa is way too far for our guests to come. But since it is a once in a life time event, it shouldnt be a problem ba.. Keke..

Our plan is to hold the Solemnization Ceremony in the 2 Bedroom Villa and then proceed to the Function Room for the banquet dinner.. Our theme shall be something related to the Sea, Sand and Beach.. Hehe.. I guess it might be something different for ourselves and the guests ba.. Happenings in June 09

Oh dear.. I've been lagging! Have not been blogging for almost 4 months! Have to backdate the events to June 09. Hmm.. the events that happened in June are:

1) ~ *Site visitation @ Rasa Sentosa for our ROM on 14 June 09* ~
2) ~ *Belated Birthday Celebration for Adelene & Xuefang* ~
3) ~ *Mummy's Birthday Celebration on 27 June 2009* ~

Event 1:
To have our wedding held in Rasa Sentosa is actually quite good! We have the sea, the sand, the wonderful families and of course, the wonderful friends! But, they will be undergoing a major renovation from Dec 09 to Dec 10. The renovation crashes with the date that we have intended to get married on (101010). Another issue, there is a limited parking space for our guests. Rasa Sentosa will not reserve the parking lots for us and our guests will have to park their cars at the Costal Sands Resort. *Sign* We have no choice but to give up this place!

Event 2:
Met up with my 2 da jies on 23 June 09 @ Carousel to celebrate their belated birthday! Had a great time catching up with each other and as usual, we have lotsa things / issues to gossip on! haha! ~~~

Event 3:
27th June 2009 (Sat) - Morning
Woke up early and went to JB play Paintball with Dear's friends. It was my first time playing this game! Hmm.. What I can say towards it is... PAINFUL! =( but, it was fun! Btw, it has left 2 beautiful marks on my right arm and right thigh! =p

27th June 2009 (Sat) - Evening
After the paintball session, we quickly rushed back home to change and went out again! It was my mummy's birthday! I treated her to Soup Restaurant located @ Causeway Point for dinner and later on went to Swensen to cut her birthday cake!

A Trail to Southern Ridges

Dear and me went to climb the Southern Ridges on 6th June 09 (Sat). It was a hot afternoon! You may ask how come we suddenly wanted to go there.. Hmm.. There were 2 reasons lah.. 1st) Coz we got nothing to do! haha.. 2nd) Guiming and his gf went there and he said iz quite nice! Since we got nothing to do, so we decided to go there and "pak tor" lor! hee..

We wanted to search for cheap parking lots.. but apparently there were none over there! All were charged by per hr / per 30 mins.. We ended up searching for 3 parking lots before we decided to settle down at the last one! 1st) We tried Lock Road.. But it was not suitable as we have to walk very far.. 2nd) We parked at the carpark beside Harbour Front bus-interchange.. But realised it was not feasible too as it doesnt seem very right.. haha.. 3rd) Finally, Dear suggested to drive all the way up to Mount Faber! Ah.. He was smart! Job became much more easier.. hee..

Up there, scenery is magnificent! Blue sky, good view but, hot weather! =( See below pics..

We continued to walk to "The Jewel Box".. Heard that it is a good place for Solemnization too.. Is well-known for its scenery view and its classic deco.. Look below.. What do you think?

After we have fully charged our "battery", we continued our journey to Southern Ridges!

Dolphin Bedsheet

I bought this Dolphin Bedsheet from Causeway Point Basa Malam.. It is $12.90 only! Cheap not?! This is the first bedsheet that I have which is associated with sea animal one.. Hee.. Huiting and Meiqi were with me when I bought it.. =p Huiting said the material is rough.. She doesnt like it.. But to me, I feel that the material is alright leh.. Haha.. Maybe she is too picky ba.. *opps* keke..

Mother's Day (10th May 2009)

How did you all spend the Mother's Day with your mummy / family? Mine is to have a simple meal with all of my family members.

We went to Beaulieu Restaurant located at 117 Beaulieu Road (inside the Sembawang Park). Its a 10 course dinner and those dishes were alright lah.. I would give them a rating of 60%.. =) Haha.. I lazy to take the food pics.. If not I can show them to ur.. Keke..
