Labour Day (01 May 09)

Dear went to Zheng Hui and Chen Hui's Ba Guk Teh Store Opening Ceremony on 01 May 09 (Fri). (Did I phrase it correctly? Hee..) While I went to Causeway Point Mac to study. He came to fetch me @ about 9pm. We went to Sembawang Park and walk walk. As usual, there were filled with our Malay friends. Most of them were either bbq-ing or fishing or having picnic. We did not stay there for long as I was hungry. =p Wanted to eat fried oyster very much. Keke.. So, Dear has suggested to bring me go Geylang eat.

On the way to the carpark, Dear asked me, "U want try to drive to Geylang?" I was both surprised and anxious upon hearing his question. Why surprised? Its because I did not expect him to let me drive his friend's car. And why anxious? Its because that was my first time to drive an auto car from Sembawang to Geylang! Haha.. I sounded very sua gu right? Hee.. While I was driving, I seemed like a student and he was the examiner. Say me this, say me that. Hiaz.. make me feel so gan jiong and lousy. =( There was once when we were both talking and I just followed the car in front of me blindly. We were in a filter lane and I need to make a right turn, I just turned without taking a look at my blindspot! Hee.. Luckily the road was clear and there werent any cars. *Phiew* Because of that, I kanna "scolded" again. =(

Finally, we reached Geylang! I wasnt very confident in parallel parking, hence, I asked Dear to do it. I was super STUPID to wait for him outside the car while he did the parking. Know why? CAUSE THERE WERE 3 HUP SUM UNCLES MISTOOK ME AS A PROSTITUTE!!!!! *argh* I was damn angry lor! Those uncles stared and 'observed' at me from head to toe! I felt so uncomfortable and insulted! I mean, do I look like a prostitute?! Alamak, common sense what! In what ways do I look like a prostitute?! *argh* The thought of this incident makes me blood boil!

I complained to Dear. He said, "These uncles got no common sense one what. Whoever girls they see, they will think that you are prostitute one. Ignore them.. Come.. Lets go eat your fried oyster." We went to this hawker (Paiseh.. I forgot the name of the stall) and he ordered 1 plate of fried oyster - 4 bucks! Hmm.. It was indeed very yummy. The oyster was fresh and juicy! Simply like the freshness of it! *yeah* We also went to da bao Beancurd home to eat. While we were on the way back, I asked Dear to show me the location of Club 678 KTV Lounge. The moment I saw it, I dont like it! Why? Cause there got xiaojies one.. I just dont like these kind of places. =(

Still has got alot of things to learn first / gain experience first before I can do regional audit.. Im really looking forward to that day.. *keeping fingers crossed* haha.. Once Im out for regional audit, I can tell Gu Por about this too.. Hopefully that will keep her mouth shut from showing off how capable her grand-daugthers are.. Always "flying here and there" to work.. Every year also talk about the same thing, go to the same country one.. Dont know whether is it real anot.. Wahaha..

Economy is bad.. Every companies are cutting cost.. Know what did STB do? They took away the coffee machine, now want all staffs to change to drink 3-in-1 instant packet coffee.. They no longer order Straits Times for us to read.. Ends up we have to fork out our own pocket money to buy.. Not only that, they are also taking away all L4s priviledge of using laptop to work.. 14th March 2009 (Sat)

I woke up @ 8.45am on 14th Mar 09 (Sat). Washed clothes, washed doorstep, watered the plants and bathed with Bibi. By then I finished everything was already 6pm+. I quickly bathed and get changed. I left my house @ 7pm to meet dear. We met at South View Lrt Station and we took cab to Suntec IT Fair. I wanted to buy a new set of camera, thus, I requested dear to go with me.

Suntec was as usual packed with lots of people. We walked and searched for the cams that we fancy. Finally, I managed to see one that I like. Hee.. Not much of a special feature but it has got a mirror with it. It is a touch screen Olympus camera which costs $299. We nearly bought that until dear saw this particular one. It is waterproof and can take pictures in cold weather. He said this is much more worth it as it has got these 2 special features. We discussed and I hestitated for awhile, lastly, I decided to go with dear's idea. We bought the Olympus waterproof camera for $399.

I looked at my watch and GOSH! it was already 10pm! *Hungry* The both of us have not had our dinner yet. So, we went to eat @ Suntec Kenny Rogers. After that we went to Clarke Quey and walk walk. I told dear that I wanted to watch "Race to Witch Mountain". Thanks to the high technology system that we have now, he searched the webby from his handphone and we watched the 12.25am movie @ Cineleisure.

This show is just simply GREAT! I guess is because I like this kind of science-friction kind of story ba. I enjoyed it very much!

The show ended @ 2.15am and we took NR3 home.

Wah.. by then we reached CCK was already 3am le! Though we were tired, we still managed to spend 1 more hour to discuss our wedding venue! The first place that we have in mind is Sentosa! Sentosa Beach Wedding! How does it sound?! Hee.. It's so romantic! To be able to hold my wedding at a beach and with all of my family and dearest friends around.. Wah.. It is just so blessed!

I liked the Sapphire Pavilion! Here is the webby of it: http://www.sentosa.com.sg/sales/weddings_pp/sapphire_pavilion_gallery.html

*Yawnz* We were very tired! We went to sleep and decided to continue on next Sat, 21 mar 09.

Whitecrystal is so disappointed =(

My heart sank when my dear sent me this msg frm HDB: "(HDB Sales and SMS) BE (Sep 08): All S2 Apartment in Central for Chinese have been selected. Your selection appointment is cancelled. Please do not reply."

There goes my Duxton flat! All my hopes are gone! Our previous exploration, planning and discussion had gone to waste! *sad* Im just so disappointed! The flat which I think that it is the best so far had just slipped off from my hand! There's this saying goes - So near and yet so far! Like what most of my friends say, maybe we are just not fated to own this flat. As this is our second time kanna rejected by HDB liao! (or maybe we are just not lucky enough hor?!) *sobsob* but I really like it alot! Now have to see other people owning it. Feel so envy and jealous! Haha.. Hiaz..

Our Flat - The Pinnacle@Duxton

The Pinnacle@Duxton is our third attempt to purchase a flat. We had previously applied for the units at Commonwealth and Toa Payoh but were unsucessful. Though HDB sent us a letter asking us to choose a unit on 13th Mar 09, it is subject to units avaliability. Know why? Because our queue number had exceeded the quota number. *sad* Now I'm praying very hard that there are units avaliable and we are able to choose a unit that we like.

Attached pictures are the artist's impression of Duxton and the actual construction of the flat:

Very nice right? I just love this place! Can you imagine that Community Centre, Wet Market, NTUC, Tanjong Pagar Mrt Station, SGH, Police Station, Hawker Centres, Temple are all around the vicinity?! And within the flat itself, it has got a childcare centre and a mini shopping centre. It is just supreb!

Thoughts

Our 6 years plus of relationship is really not easy.. Had gone through lots of disagreements, arguements, "fightings" and 2 break-ups. Haa.. And also not forgetting the sweet moments that we shared.

Remembered the first break-up that we had, it happened between Mar-Apr 2004. We were friends for a month. During that time, we would occasionally msn each other and talked on the phone. Then one day, he wrote me a letter hinting me to patch back. Hee.. I was touched by what he did because given his lazy character, a person who dislikes writing and prefer to talk on the phone, actually wrote me a letter. With some compromises, we had a deal and we patched back!

As for the second break-up, it was in mid Mar 2007 and we were friends for a week. He only called me for once and asked me what am I doing. Zzzzz.. I was hoping that he could ask me more okie! But he never did and we hung up shortly. Hmm.. think after a few days ba, he asked me out for a movie. So we went to Causeway Point Cathay. During the movie, haa.. *I was rather shy to say this out* hee.. he fed me nachos and we shared a drink. After movie, he sent me home. And again, we made more compromises and we patched back!

My grandma and mummy often say this to me, "I dont understand what you, youngsters, are thinking! Quarrel, Cry, Break. Quarrel, Cry, Break. Then together again. Whats so much to quarrel about." I said, "Aiyah.. Iz very common for couples to do this nowadays one lah.. It has already become parts and parcels of our life liao.. No quarrel, no fun.. Then we wouldnt understand what each other is thinking.. Just get used to it can liao lor.." Haha.. *True anot*? =)

I said "Yes" to be his girlfriend

My boy has finally decided to meet me after 2 years of chatting on the phone! 2 years leh! That was super long right?! U know hor, Ive been waiting for him to ask me out lor! But sadly to say, he never did. *sobsob* Ends up I have to wait for him for 2 years! haa..

Hmm.. where and when did we first meet? It was on the xmas eve of 2002. We met at one of the cafe at Esplanade. Ordered drinks and chatted for about an hour+.. It was quite awkward initially as we were both rather shy. Haha.. Throughout the meet-up, he did most of the talking and I'm the listener. Hee.. Coz I paiseh mah.. *grinned*

Ok.. Lets talk about my first impression of him.. He was very Ah Beng.. Quite fit though.. Not very tall.. But alright lah.. Got a presentable look.. Hee.. His impression of me was of course those typical guai guai girl lor.. Still got what wor?! Wahaha.. After we parted, he went to look for Zee Kiong they all and I met with Rachel and Carine at Causeway Point. I can still remembered that Carine gave me a sunflower photoframe as my Xmas present. Hee..

We continued to be normal friends and occasionally meet-up for a drink or dinner. Finally on the 9th February 2003 night, he asked me, "Will you be my girlfriend?" What do you think I reply? Hee.. Of course I said, "Okie".

So, that's how we started. My first boyfriend, his fourth girlfriend. =)
